A central belief in the Mormon faith is that Jesus Christ will come again, ushering in the Millennium, a time when he will rule the earth. What did Joseph Smith teach about the event? Did he prophecy when it would occur? Is the hope Mormons have had for generations still premature, or is the climax they’ve been hoping for finally “near at hand”?
